To be eligible for our programs, we require at least 70% English, so I would recommend that you continue your English studies, with a focus on spoken English.
Also, your work experience is important. U.S. hospitals value 'acute care' experience in large hospitals, such as the 'tercer nivel' hospitals and the big integrated care systems such as IMSS, ISSTE, Pemex, Salubridad even Loteria. Or the larger private hospitals, such as Especialidades in Tijuana.
